Communication strategies

Effective communication is an essential in any business or organisation.

To win new business, customers must have a clear understanding of how you can help them. And to grow business, you need to keep your customers in touch as your products and services evolve, explaining the new opportunities you are creating for them.

But that's just a part of the challenge. You also need to keep your employees informed about your progress and briefed about what's expected of them. And you may also need to keep investors, neighbours and other key stakeholders in the loop and encourage them to look positively on your business and its plans.

True, it all sounds a bit complicated, but it doesn't have to be.
By working with you to create and agree a communication plan, The Writing House can help you clarify your messages for each audience, identify how best to get them across and set short and longer term goals.

Of course, the danger with any plan is that it remains just that - a plan. That's why we like to keep our plans clear, concise and easy to put into effect.

We also recognise that things rarely stand still. The market, competition, regulation - all can change. Plans must therefore be working documents that easy to follow, adapt and evolve - not something that's cast in stone.

Hallo - who's this I'm talking to?

How many audiences does your business have? And how does it communicate with each one? Typically, you'll have three main audiences - your customers, your suppliers and your employees - but you may also need to communicate separately with those who own or invest in your business and with the media and others whose views may impact your success. Each of these audiences has a different interest.
