Our company
The Writing House opened for business on October 1st, 2004.
The company was created by Vivienne and Colin Maunder, each of whom has an extensive expertise in business communications.
Vivienne is one of East Anglia's most experienced PR practitioners, with over 25 years experience of journalism, public relations, marketing communications and related activities. In July 2003, she became a freelance PR consultant and writer, working for a wide range of regional and national businesses.
Colin has over eight years' experience in brand development and the delivery of high impact communications centered on the information and communication technologies industry. Prior to establishing The Writing House, he was brand and communications manager for BT Exact - BT's Suffolk-based technology business - where he managed brand development, public relations, marketing communications and the business's web sites.
The services offered by The Writing House combine draw on the founders'
complementary skills. They include the development of communication strategies,
press relations, copywriting for brochures and web sites, and employee
communications.
